When I order, how long will my order take to arrive?

Due to the fact that we are a bespoke company and everything is made to order, this can depend on a number of factors. We endeavour to get your order to you within 10 working days, but sometimes it can take slightly longer. We will contact you if this is the case.

Will the delivery driver carry the goods inside my property?

Due to insurance guidelines, our drivers are unable to enter private residences. The recipients of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made.

Will my order include a sales and a VAT receipt?

Yes, a sales receipt is emailed to you when you Order and a copy is also enclosed with all orders prior to shipping.

Will I be contacted before delivery?

Your order will be dispatched in around 5-10 working days. In the unlikely event there is any issue, we will contact you. You can of course also specify a delivery date that is convenient for you and we will do our very best to meet your needs.

Are your materials sustainable?

At Skirting Boards Direct we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and are careful to verify that our sources meet the highest standards. We use rigorous verification systems to monitor our suppliers. We have Environmental Chain of Custody Certification for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Our suppliers are also independently audited for the Responsible Purchasing Policy (RPP) of the Timber Trade Federation and Forests Forever.

How is my information secured when using the Skirting Boards Direct website?

The Skirting Boards Direct website uses SagePay as our payment service provider (PSP), thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to SagePay. It’s our top priority to ensure that our customers’ transaction data is kept secure at all times, which is why we comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) meeting the standard as a Level 1 PCI DSS compliant Payment Service Provider.

How do I buy?

You can either buy Online using our Secure Checkout or you can Telephone us on 0121 344 4427 and place the order over the Phone.

Can I choose my Delivery Date?

If there is a particular date which you would like your delivery on that is not a problem. As long as its not before the 5-10 working days to machine the order we will deliver on your chosen date. All of this will be confirmed when you place the order.

Do you offer Trade Discounts?

Yes Skirting Boards Direct does offer Trade discounts. These prices are only currently available over the Telephone, but you can use the website to place a quote, which we will respond to within 24 hours with your trade pricing on it.

Can I add an additional finish or items to my order if I have already purchased it?

Of course you can. All you need to do is simply drop us an Email or Call us on 0121 344 4427 and quote your Order Reference, tell us what you want to add, an we will do add it for you.

I want to know more about Custom Sizes?

If there is a particular size or thickness that you need that isn’t listed on our website, don’t worry. We can Cut and Machine to almost any thickness and size you need. To take advantage of this you will need to call us on 0121 344 4427.
