We make a large range of solid oak window sills in many sizes which are made from prime grade, kiln dried American solid Oak timber, which offers a beautiful natural grain finish. All our window sills are machined with a bullnose or square edge on the front profile and are supplied unfinished and sanded ready to be finished with an oil, or lacquer, of your choice. This enables you to match the window sills to your window frames and door frames, skirting boards and architrave. All are solid oak window sill boards over 220 wide and are constructed using a tongue and groove joint which is glued and has been glued with industrial strength glue to make a wider  oak window sill board. We choose this method as it is the strongest joint.

All single boards of solid oak window sills use solid oak timber in single oak planks.  We  offer the largest range of oak window sills from sustainable forests in the making of our solid oak window sill boards. Due to the make-up of the window sills, boards may vary in grain patterns and colour or slight variations in the shade of the oak. Our team always tries to select the closest matching oak boards when constructing this product, whilst allowing the variation in grain to bring a bit of character to the wood.

Oak window sills are available in lengths from 1m to 3 metres with varying depths up to 400mm and thicknesses of 20mm and 30mm with either a square edge or bullnose finish. Our solid oak  window sills can be made for a   window seat and are a good way to add a finishing touch to a window seat, whilst the prime grade oak adds some character and helps to make your home more  warm and cosy. Solid oak window sills are made from 100% prime grade solid oak with no  sustainable sources.
